The 2025 FIDE Women’s World Chess Championship was a title match between reigning champion Ju Wenjun and challenger Tan Zhongyi, held from April 1 to 16 in Shanghai and Chongqing, China. This win marked Ju's fifth world title, placing her among the most accomplished players in women's chess history.
